The Ryde Art Collective is a group of diverse contemporary artists bringing work together for exhibition using both traditional and technology media.
Our work is inspired by personal and everyday experiences, questioning the human condition through storytelling, emotion, traces of history, and an interplay of chance and space.

Richard May
MIXED MEDIA
Richard works in a variety of media on a variety of scales and surfaces. His work is abstract, reflecting on places, events and experiences, often working over a period of time and through several versions of each image. -
Karen Mead
MIXED MEDIA
Karen Mead creates figurative, often humorous images that reveal the lives of mature women. She is particularly interested in the conflict between societal expectations and individual acts of rebellion against those expectations. -
Fiona Schindler
MIXED MEDIA
Fiona's work is primarily about loss. The loss of home, family and culture at an early age informs much of her work. That which is missing and the irreplaceable.
